Jesus Center's Christian Weddings

We do weddings several ways: If your wedding is held in our small Wedding Chapel, there is no minimum donation (the use of the Chapel is free).
For all weddings, we encourage a donation to the Church for the Pastor's services.
For all weddings, we give you a Wedding Gift from our Church, which is a Bible with your names in it and the date of your wedding.
If your wedding is in the church, we decorate our Church in the color of your choice, Wedding Arch, Candelabras, Unity Candles and we play the Wedding March
If you have a reception with your Church Wedding, you will also get a Wedding Cake decorated in your color, a Groom's Cake with your names on it, Engraved Napkins in your color with your names and the date of your wedding, Punch, Nuts, Mints, Coffee, Cheese with Snack Crackers and Birdseed or Wedding Bubbles for all your guests. Also, we do all the set-up, coordination and clean up for your reception so everyone can enjoy themselves. We have Sterling Silver toasting goblets and cake knives available for your use. Remember to select three people to serve.
For Church Weddings and for Church Weddings with Receptions we have suggested minimum donation amounts based on your number of guests (5, 15, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 or 175).
We have a detailed information sheet with all the minimum donations listed and information how to reserve your special day.
Because of the color pictures on the information sheet, we only send it by regular mail.

Wedding Service
Our Wedding Service at Jesus Center sounds traditional while being accurate before God. Both husband and wife make the same promises and obedience is only encouraged toward Jesus. The scriptures used are John 15:9-12, Mark 10:6-9 and 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
State of Oklahoma Requirements
Marriage License: You may go to any Oklahoma County Court House (get before wedding). They require something with your name and age like a driver's license or birth certificate and $50*cash. You have 10 days to hand the license to the person performing your wedding. Tulsa County Court House is located at 5th and Denver on the 2nd floor.
Witnesses: The State of Oklahoma requires the signature of two witnesses.
Q: Does your Church offer premarital counseling and training?
*A: Yes and it is optional. Our Free Marriage Workshop will help you become the team God intended you to be. God promised in Genesis 2:24 that the two will become one and our Workshop helps you obtain that oneness. There is a different workshop every week for six weeks. *At present, if you participate in at least two Workshops, we will give you a certificate that will reduce the cost of your marriage license to $5. Our Workshops are every Thursday from 6 to 8pm.
