Ordination

The following is how we are able to help you be ordained.

As a person desiring to be ordained, we would expect that you believe you are called by God to serve Him. Also, that you always try to understand God's will for your life and that you make an effort to be obedient to God and live like He wants you to. We expect that you are trying to live a life that reflects favorably on God. And that you believe the Bible the way it is written, and believe and try to follow all of Jesus' teachings learned from His words and His actions.

There are two possible avenues for ordinations through our Church, Jesus Center:

a) you may have 2 people from your Church, who are not associated financially or as a relation, and who have known you for at least a year, to be willing to agree in person and sign a statement that they have seen evidence of God's call in your life and observed your active ministry in your Church, during the past year.

or

b) you may choose to serve God with us at Jesus Center, provided we are compatible in serving God together, so that your call and ministry will be evident. This should include the visible aspects of being a Christian, such as being faithful in your attendance and tithing, etc. Initially, for several weeks, after you are comfortable in our Church family and they are comfortable with you, you will meet with our Pastor, once a week discussing ministry subjects. From these meetings, we will determine together appropriate areas of ministry for you in our Church. Your ministry will involve a minimum of 9 months of service.

Once you have selected one of these avenues for your ordination and accomplished the requirements, you will schedule a time for your ordination by making a donation to our Church.
